Since our launch in April 2020, MentorStark's foremost goal is to be a catalyst to promote more connection in Stark County between young people and trusted adults. We do this by promoting the many high quality mentoring and youth development programs available in Stark County, and by filling career-focused social capital-building gaps in our community. We also do it by educating people about the "mentoring mindset" and how everyone can build supportive and opportunity-enhancing relationships in their lives. We are grateful for the community partners who are helping spread the word about the power of mentoring and who really helped elevate the message in January during National Mentoring Month. If you have missed any of the recent coverage of our work, here is your chance to check it out!
